Durian Cherry Smoothie Bowl
It's durian season again here at my household thanks to The Raw Food World getting their freeze dried durian back in stock and offering a 20% off discount on Black Friday! Mmm mmm oh yes! Of course, you can eat the durian straight out of the bag as is, but I also find it fun to experiment with and create new concoctions. One of my favorite ways to prepare it is blending it up with frozen fruit. The durian gives the smoothies a rich, creamy texture and makes them taste almost like a yogurt! Below is one of my favorite durian smoothie bowl recipes I've come up with.
3 cups freeze dried durian
2 cups frozen cherries
2 cups coconut 🥥 water
1 tbsp goji powder
1 tbsp ground vanilla
1. Place all ingredients in a blender.
2. Blend on high speed until everything is well combined (about 30-60 seconds).
3. Pour into a large bowl, top with your favorite toppings, and eat up! ☺
